I usually make calzones instead of pizza, so that Michael and I can use different ingredients. When I went to make them last night, though I realized we only had the kind of filling that I usually like, so I just made a pizza. It was really good! Gimmie Lean "sausage" (I fried it up with some onions), red onions, and mushrooms. Tasty!
Also, I was hankering for artichoke jalapeno dip for some reason, so I made some. You could feed a football team with this recipe, so I recommend halving it unless it's for a party:
1 bag frozen artichoke hearts from Trader Joe's
4 cloves garlic
1 8 oz package of cream cheese
2 large spoonfuls of mayonaise
about 15 pieces of sliced pickled jalapenos (to taste) (it could have been more, I'm not sure)
1 splash of the vinegar from the jar of jalapenos
salt and pepper to taste
chop up the garlic & jalapeno (I used a food processor)
add the artichoke hearts, chop more
put the mixture in a microwave save bowl, put the cream cheese on top, and nuke for 2 minutes
mix it all together, add mayo and salt & pepper, mix again. Chill for 1 hour.
mahdi and
cedeyus couldn't stop eating it, and claim it was laced with crack, but they were wrong. :)
