Bleargh

I am so tired today. My massive headache seems to be spawning from the same place as the nasty cramps that just arrived to join it.

I didn't work a full day yesterday, and now I'm running late today. I think I need to get it in gear! Yesterday wasn't my fault; I left early to get some work done at home and ended up being needed because my poor little nephew fell and gave himself a nasty concussion. He's going to be ok, thankfully! But it was a long day for everyone and pretty stressful.

I work a lot, generally - I haven't put in a single time card since I started that didn't have some overtime, most of the time a substantial amount - but I still feel bad about not being there right now, and still feel bad for coming in late even on days when I was working late the night before.

I think the whole call center precision timing thing has gotten into my head. I work better, in general, when I can make my own hours and get things done on my own clock, but I feel horrible about it because I feel like I'm supposed to be effectively punching a time clock with perfect little round numbers on it.
